It has been some time since our previous blog post, and I am excited to provide some updates! Ever since our establishment in March 2024, Thrive Resource Hub has remained committed to creating a meaningful impact in the lives of working-class single mothers. We are ecstatic to share the progress and updates from our first few months of operation, and we look forward to many more milestones ahead.

Upcoming Soft Launch Fundraiser
We are excited to announce our soft launch fundraiser, which will be held this coming Saturday, July 13th, at The Coven, 165 Western Ave, Suite #8, Saint Paul, MN 55102
4:00pm-6:30pm. This event is an excellent opportunity for our supporters to learn more about our mission, celebrate our achievements, and contribute to our future initiatives. Launch of Our Pilot Program
In June, we partnered with a generous private donor to launch our Pilot Program, which allows us to provide up to $1,200 in financial assistance to select single mothers in need. We understand the challenges faced by single mothers who earn too much to qualify for government assistance yet still struggle to make ends meet. This program is designed to bridge that gap and offer much-needed support.
Since its inception in June, our Pilot Program has distributed over $2,664 in emergency assistance. These funds have been crucial in helping with back-paid rent, childcare expenses, groceries, and gas. Our goal is to alleviate some of the financial stress that our recipients face, enabling them to focus on building a brighter future for themselves and their children.
First Workshop: Single Mom Homebuying Initiative
In partnership with Corissa Sutton from CSE, we are hosting our first workshop focusing on a single mom homebuying initiative. This 6-week course is designed to equip single mothers with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the homebuying process. Homeownership is a significant step towards financial stability, and we are committed to supporting our participants every step of the way. Learn more by clicking the link below.
